Howdy I'm Kailee

—your photographer. I’m a 22-year-old, lifelong Oregon resident with a deep love for photography and the people and stories here in our community. I have hunted elk up in the mountains, showed at livestock and horse shows, and met and learned from other local photographers and businesses. I believe that these experiences and involvement aid me in telling and documenting your experiences and stories.

I’m currently pursuing my master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, a path that shapes how I approach photography. I believe understanding people matters just as much as understanding my camera. That perspective allows me to provide compassionate, thoughtful care and to create images that reflect your story, your legacy, and the moments that matter most.

My tagline is the "western and whimsical" because I do not believe in forcing people to fit into boxes or specific aesthetics and niches. People are contradicting, confusing, and multiple things all at once (I know I sure am) and I want to always have space to honor that. Bring your favorite flowy dress and your livestock, your big ol' cowboy hat and your sports medals, and everything in between. You do not have to cut out parts of yourself to be here and to have images that evoke western imagery and emotion.
